Does RMS use embryonic stem cells in its research?

No. Regenerative Medical Solutions does not use embryonic stem cells in any part of its research or product development. This is a deliberate and fundamental aspect of RMS’s scientific and ethical approach.

Embryonic stem cells are derived from human embryos at a very early stage of development, which raises significant ethical concerns about the destruction of human embryos for research purposes. These concerns have historically made embryonic stem cell research politically and ethically contested, and have created regulatory and public acceptance challenges for therapies based on them.

RMS uses induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), which are adult cells reprogrammed to behave like stem cells, as the foundation of its technology. iPSCs offer the same pluripotency as embryonic stem cells (the ability to differentiate into virtually any cell type) without requiring the use of embryos. They can be generated from a patient’s own skin or blood cells, making them both ethically unproblematic and scientifically well-suited to a personalized therapeutic approach.
